We Meet Again But For The Very First Time!

He was a very fine man,

Can’t say if he was really my fan..

But we had a very deep connection;

Deeper than the cravings of a real confection!

He was the one I thought I could marry,

To late, we broke up in a hurry!

We had great plans for the future;

Our hearts’ desires, yes we did nurture.

But circumstances beyond our control,

Took us both on a great stroll.

Up, up, and far away;

To a place all glittery and gay!

A place where there’s no more pain;

Only love, grace and gain.

Yes, I really look forward to seeing you there;

Still, yet a long way from now and here.

And I’m not ashamed to say,

That we would meet again;

But this time for the very first time!

PEOPLE AND PLACES

 People and places, Dresses and cases; Times and seasons, On the move, on the go! Running towards the finishing line, Drilling treasures from a gold mine. Whispering and gossips: Two faced liars and deceivers. Too many people caught up on trips; Just too late to return the hires. But let's all remember that there will be a time of reckoning: Judgements, rewards and beckoning, For those who made their stay worthwhile though sometimes painfully lingering; Yet there would be some who though hindering, Will have their words displayed on Eternal boards and on walls, Where there will be darkness, howling and growling!

BELOVED MY PATH

 Each moment I wake up,  Listening to the sounds of the waves washing through the shore,. Wondering in my mind the next step to take; If only I wasn't too anxious at this point in time on the horizon of wantoness; I'd see clearly the path which trails down the road of glory and yet tenacity; Which in my heart and deep down in my soul, I deem fit to castigate, And not profligate; But instantly, show someone who needs some love and attention; Advice and direction, Like never before, who lived among the thorns and thistles of merriment and bliss;  Which has now cut deep into the imprint of the soul,  I am glad to say, that I didn't take that plunge into that deep dark hole of despair,  Which comes from obscurity and even uncertainty; Well, I certainly took the right turn, upwards, And this, I must say, has been the best thing, I could ever have done in my entire life! Oh, My Love!

 Oh, my love, My heart's dove.. When will you come? And take me home? Still, sitting and suffering in silence, Waiting for you to arrive in cadence; Battling with the horrors and darkness of rejection; Yes, making claims through the scene of dejection. So, my own, It's now time for bone to meet with bone, No more separation which occured at birth; Journeying alone through the planet earth; Sometimes, feeling the weight and also the thrill of singleness, But now knowing the throes of loneliness! It's now time to become one again, As it was in the beginning, When God created me from you! Poem written by Ewoma.
