  He was a very fine man, Can’t say if he was really my fan.. But we had a very deep connection; Deeper than the cravings of a real confection! He was the one I thought I could marry, To late, we broke up in a hurry! We had great plans for the future; Our hearts’ desires, yes we did nurture. But circumstances beyond our control, Took us both on a great stroll. Up, up, and far away; To a place all glittery and gay! A place where there’s no more pain; Only love, grace and gain. Yes, I really look forward to seeing you there; Still, yet a long way from now and here. And I’m not ashamed to say, That we would meet again; But this time for the very first time! Written By Ewoma

  Vanity like all other things, Has crept into our everyday lives, And corrupted the processes of our well being. Eating up vital aspects of our time kin, Sending the wrong signals of the purpose of our existence. True, we delight in fancy delicates and rich fares which life has to offer; Perhaps, those fine leather boots or that smooth fur; Those silk scarves and wide brimmed hats; Fine French wines and cream gateaux! Also, we don’t forget the ice-creams with so many flavors to try; that our eyes glisten with tears and so we begin to cry, Not from pain but of sheer delight and pure pleasure! To allow the substance of vanity to rule your subconscious and rob you of your true existence,  Is like deliberately placing your hands on  hot searing coals, And pretending that it’s burning heat does more good than harm;  Most especially, when the scars are so evident on your bank account, And can be eventually seen on the scathed reins with which you pull your destiny!   ALIVE IN HIM It’s a new day, Growing stronger in the way, Doing everything you may, Strong foundations you lay. TRUSTING IN HIS WORD Amidst the tears, Receding fears, The Word in your ears, Casting all your cares. GOD CARES  Trusting in His Love, Looking from above, Our problems He solves, More and more He loves. VICTORY OVER TEMPTATIONS Surrounded by the lions, Makes us real champions; Climbing up the canyons, Rising from the dungeons. OUT OF GOD’S WILL  Feeling down, Checking out to town; Responding to the clown, Diminishing your crown!  SOLD OUT TO GOD In an attitude of praise, Our hands we raise.
