I Stumbled into You.....

I stumbled into you,

And yet I didn’t fall!

Well, I just walked into your world,

Amazing, and there was no wall!

You always seem to bare your heart to me, and give me something to do; something to always think about.

I only hope this is all so true, for I am willing to take that risk,

To love again, and to take a chance on you, if only you mean what you say, and do what you mean.

Maybe we could actually take that ride into heights unknown and depths untold.

For to speak is with the heart,

And to actually do is with the mind.

Please don’t break my heart…..

Can you show me some scars? As you reached for the stars; Maybe you did all you could, you know what I’m talking about. When you were trodden down in pain; Negotiating your way to the heights of fame and glory! But you wish your journey was a bit more pleasant; Not laden with the shame that tried to pull you down. Yet you fought your way through the thorns and thistles of life; Wavering and staggering up the ladder of success; Each step stronger than the previous one; Pushing up, up and up until you reached the highest wrung at the pinnacle. Then suddenly your view changes; As you can now see from the heights you have attained; How far down you have come up from, and yet how small figures of uncertainty seem to you at that moment. Then suddenly, you must realize that for every applause and accolade you have received; There’s a God behind the scenes orchestrating events in your favor, So you can fulfill every written code in the journal of destiny; Remembering to always...

GOLD IN THE MIDST OF CHAOS!

Al as, we came back, Through thick groves and swampy forests, We made it through the dark nights, And the street lights; Only to step to the other side, To find something more precious than the calamity that threatened the tide. All wrapped up in a cozy film; And to the delight of our souls; we would have given up the parade, Unless we had stopped to consider the length of the charade! But all through this, it was worth the ride, Well prepared, was the feast on our side, Into the mist which threatened to overwhelm our sight! We tried, but it seemed we had failed; Several times, over and over again; our hearts lurched in the adventures of time, Only then to realise we were at the very brink of discovery- At dusk, standing face to face with stark reality; We had finally found precious gold right there in the midst of chaos! The beauty of maturity, This kind of beauty goes deep into the recesses of one’s own soul. It is faceless, and lacks the artificial touch of the make-up artist. It is skin deep, soul searching and highly spiritual. Well, this kind of beauty isn’t meant for the weak and hard of hearing, Rather, it comes out of the one who is strong and long suffering. Perhaps, this is a well known truth, that for all we go through in life, We acquire a sense of longing and identity, Which when analyzed, brings about a deep sense of fulfillment, That can never be put to microscopic or intellectual scrutiny. Nevertheless, we know we are beautiful in God’s own eyes; When we do the things we ought to do, when we ought to do them, and how we ought to do them.
